Porcelain and Eggshell (2009, oil on canvas, 70 x 50 cms)
The bowl is porcelain, and reminded me of the work of studio potters like Lucy Rie or Hans Coper. The eggs were a lovely mixture of green-ish whites and browns, and the lightly-glazed bowl had a very similar texture to the eggshells. This is the kitchen windowsill, mid afternoon.
